How it works

The data is public. The value is in getting it fresh, cleaned, categorized, and delivered for the exact cities you sell into.

1

Pull

Every business that registers with the Oregon Secretary of State becomes a public record. We pull the newest registrations across all of Oregon.

2

Clean

We keep only the real place of business and remove duplicates. Then we flag addresses used by lots of filings. Those are filing-service offices, not the real business. In Portland about one raw filing in four gets pulled out this way. Statewide it is about one in twelve.

3

Categorize

Each business is tagged by likely industry so you can target your trade, and matched to its city so you only get the markets you pay for.

4

Deliver

You get it weekly, as a CSV by email. Each row has the name, filing date, address, entity type, category, the contact name from the filing, and the state record link.

Freshness

The state publishes new filings in batches, not daily. On a given day the newest published filing is often a week old. So the feed is weekly, because that is what the source supports; a daily feed of the same records is a weekly feed with a daily invoice. This feed is current through September 14, 2026, the newest filing the state had published when it was built. It covers 6,197 new businesses across388 Oregon cities in the last 30 days.

Compliance

The data comes from public business-registry records. We give you the facts to use. You are responsible for following outreach rules. That means CAN-SPAM for email, and the Do-Not-Call registry and TCPA for calls and texts. We are not affiliated with the Oregon Secretary of State.
